Why plain English

Most languages are written for the computer first and the reader second. Common tries the other order.

The trick is not to accept every English sentence. It is to pick one way to say each thing, and make the error messages teach that one way.

That is why there is no plus sign between strings, no braces, and no dollar signs. A value goes inside the text: "Hello, [name]".

The whole blog, list and post, is this
